These are some of the health certificates you should be asking about when
purchasing a puppy. These certificates should be done on the parents the
more certificates the less chance you will receive a puppy with a hereditary or
congenital problem
This is a OFA certificate they are issued at 2 years or older you can get a rating of Excellent Good or Fair usually your
dog is taken to a vet with experience in doing xrays that need to be sent into OFA some vets use antshia and some do
not of course you may get a better view if your dog is under antiesha. After the xrays are taken they are sent off usually
by you to OFA with a fee to be read and determine a rating. Be aware that a dog can be Pre-Limbed which means the
xrays were taken under 2 years of age and I believe are only 88 percent correct.

This is another certificate that OFA does on elbows again it is to be done the same way take your
dog to the vet and then the xrays are sent off to OFA with a fee for evaluation
This is a CERF certificate it certifies that there is no problem with the dogs eyes
