AKC LIMITED VS FULL REGISTRATION
If you are planning on breeding it is very important you let the breeder know. AKC will allow a breeder to
mark Limited or Full on your papers-This means that if the Limited is marked you can not show/breed the
animal. Usually a breeder will give you a pet price if you are not going to breed/show your new puppy. If you
might later want to breed or show  it is imperative you get something in writing from the breeder stating
what you have to do to get a full registration. A limited registration can be changed to a full at any given
time but a full registration can not be changed back to a limited.
This is the paperwork AKC requires the breeder and owner to fill out and send
in to get the limited revolked.
If you are a breeder it is imperative that you keep copies of everything submitted to
AKC front and back. This way if you find out you need information for a additional form
you will have it. AKC is the only kennel club I know that will allow a breeder to limit
breeding and showing.

Our pups are sold for 650.00 as a pet with limited AKC papers and 800.00 with full AKC registration
papers the reason we do this is that we do not feel people who are never going to make money
back from the dog should pay the same as someone that is. We do make exceptions on a case by
case basis
I want everyone to know I am not here to discredit any breeder as all breeders are human and are
able to make human error, I only want to educate the buyer and share my knowledge with any
breeder that is starting out breeding or a breeder that may not know some of the things I do. I do not
know everything or pretend to all I want to do is share information.
