I wanted everyone to know that Rottweilers do have different markings and I wanted
to share them with you as I recently was shocked with a person that did not know that
Rottweilers do have markings of Tan and Rust. AKC Recognizes colors of Mahogany,
Rust, and Tan Markings as these are listed on AKC papers for a option of color for the
markings of the Rottweiler. I thought I would share some pictures with you of the
different markings.
This Rottweiler has allot of black I really do
not care for Rottweilers that have allot of
black I like them to have clear defined
markings this dog is absent of most
markings
This is to show you that  Rottweiler Markings do change as you can see on this
Rottweiler as a puppy 8 weeks she had almost tan markings at about 2 year of age
they are Rust then at 3 and half they are a darker rust/to mahogany. You should know
though Markings can go either way Lighter or Darker just depends on the dogs in the
bloodline which the breeder should be able to give you some Ideal
This is Mahogany Markings
they are described as a
