| HESS'S ROTTWEILERS MISSION STATEMENT A lot of people will tell you they have the best dogs in the world, people have a higher opinion of their own dogs. I AM HERE TO TELL YOU WHY I BREED AND WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER YOU. Our number one goal is health because without this you have nothing, It's like having a brand new red convertibles corvette with no engine. Anyone in the world can breed for something they can see like looks, temperament, confirmation, and train-ability. BUT THE CHALLENGE IS TO BREED FOR SOMETHING YOU CAN NOT SEE. Like good hips, good elbows, good heart and eyes. These are the things we strive for and we educate you on so when you go to purchase your son, daughter, niece, nephew, sister, brother or if you are purchasing the animal for your self, you will know beyond any doubt you are prepared to shop around and get the best possible puppy for your money, and one that will be around for the future years without allot of expensive medical bills. I want people to know what OFA,OFEL,CERF,CARDIAC, DNA-CERTIFICATES are and what they look like. Iwant you to know what a pedigree is and how important this is to you choosing a puppy, I also want people to know when you purchase a puppy they will all look cute and cuddly, but behind that sweet look may be a 1500.00 surgery for hip displaysia and that is per hip. I would/will never claim to have the best because as our parents said as we were growing up there is always be someone bigger and better than you. That may be a fact but a lot of them sell there puppies for a lot higher price than I do. We sell our pet quality puppies AKC for 650.00 and the AKC full registration for 800.00 usually there are exceptions to this rule. I do require a 250.00 deposit and deposits are strongly recommended The deposits are refunded only if the pup is deemed unfit for sale by a license DVM, (This is for puppies being vet checked only) You are called back in order of the date we receive your deposit. You understand that if you are preferring certain parents and a certain sex of a pup this may take longer than are usual 6 month waiting list to achieve. Cash is only accepted at time of pick up, If you do not come when scheduled to pick up your puppy then the pup will be resold and no deposit refunded. I am always willing to listen to offers and under some circumstances I am willing to negotiate. I believe that a person should not have to take out a mortgage on their home just to buy a good, sound, healthy pet. Money is not the main goal for me, I work and have an employer so I do not count on my dogs to pay my bills, Look at whom your getting your next pet from. What do you think their main goal is? When I'm selling a pup I take into consideration where the pup is going, what the person want's this pup for PROTECTION-BREEDING-PET ETC. This will allow me the opportunity to show him/her a few pups from the litter that might meet their criteria as well as a few that will not. I am experienced with these dogs NO I AM NOT A SPECIALIST, or someone who claims to know everything, But I am a person that will share my knowledge for FREE. Some breeders/kennel owners etc. Will not give you the time of day after you purchase their puppy, I am different. I have kept in contact with people who have purchased my dogs over 9 years ago. I will tell any one you do not have to purchase my animals for me to share my knowledge....All you have to do is email,call,or stop by. I will be glad to try and help you get a puppy that you are happy with. I do not have puppies all the time, so if I don't have any pups I can try and refer you to someone who has some pups that are around the same price as mine. My temperaments comes easy for my rotties, I have owned at least the past 3 generations behind most of my females, they are of the AKC standard and they look good we feed a good quality dry kibble food with vitamins and supplements this is important to our dogs in every way. I have 2 girls a 17 year old who thinks she is 25 and a 10 year old with ADHD who thinks she owns all the dogs. They both have been raised with rotties starting with (T.D. THOMAS) he was the foundation for the dogs I have today. My dogs have all the criteria to be shown, I just choose not too. Some of them have a high drive they could be good SCH prospects, I choose not to have that training put into these dogs. That's why it is important for a person to be honest about what they are looking for. I do not want to send a high drive (wired for sound) rottie home with a family that has a newborn or a 2 year old. | I have viewed many websites and I feel that some of them are so confusing to the average person that I need to let buyers know to be careful of websites that do not say in plain site who the sire and dam are. I have seen so many sites state things about the sire and grand sire that I have to wonder where the dam fits into things and be careful about breeders who say the sire has over 46 Champions in their pedigree remember that the sire only makes up a portion of your puppy what about the other parent?? And I can not tell you how important it is to see the parents and touch them when purchasing a puppy if you can not do this then maybe a video can be offered to you of kids, cats, strangers being around the parents. I have seen other websites that list dogs in the pedigree of the sire or dam you have to ask your self how far back are they anything past 3 generations really has no bearing on the puppy you will purchase as a animals bloodline can be destroyed within the first 3 generations |
